Defining a digital strategy to enable growth for a physiotherapy and mental health provider
Unlocking £10M+ in market opportunities and up to £1M per year in operational savings for a BD Capital-backed healthcare business with international ambitions.
Ascenti is a leading UK provider of physiotherapy and mental health services, backed by BD Capital. With ambitions to expand internationally, launch a SaaS model and maintain market leadership, the business recognised that its digital capabilities needed to evolve to match its growth agenda. Palladium was engaged to define a digital strategy that would integrate capabilities across the business, improve operational efficiency and manage technology risk.
THE CHALLENGE
Ascenti’s growth ambitions outpaced its digital maturity. The mental health services it had acquired sat at a lower digital standard than its physical health offering, creating inconsistency in the patient experience. The path to a SaaS model required technology and operational foundations that did not yet exist, and technology risks needed to be identified and addressed before further scaling could begin.
OUR APPROACH
Palladium conducted a comprehensive digital strategy engagement covering market opportunity analysis, operational efficiency diagnostics, technology risk assessment and digital experience design. The work examined Ascenti’s full digital landscape, identified national and international growth opportunities, quantified the value of automation and prioritised 38 targeted improvements to the digital experience. A future-proof service blueprint was developed that brought together physical and mental health offerings and created a platform for onboarding new services.
